To qualify, property must be a single-family home or similar with a dedicated electrical panel, and you must be the homeowner or have their explicit permission to install. Home charger must be located within 20 feet of main electrical panel. This panel must have available space and not require any upgrades. No trenching, drywall work, or complex conduit runs are required, and most installations can be completed in one day without a special permit. Installation costs are covered up to a maximum of $1,250. Any expenses beyond this amount will be the customer’s responsibility.
